Full product tracking and traceability

IDC have introduced an RFID system, Simplitrak, which employs RFID read/write tags that can be easily embedded into products at point of manufacture. This allows manufacturers to provide full product tracking and traceability and guard against counterfeit products and components entering their supply chain. It also enables quality assurance departments to provide customers with data for compliance with set procedures and policies.

Working with smart media partner, CLC, IDC is able to supply a complete RFID turnkey solution. Raw RFID tag inlays are converted into smart media, which can also incorporate barcodes where necessary. These provide a unique ID and do not require line of sight for reading and writing.
