Reliable thermal ink jet technology

Pharmaceutical manufacturer, Teva, has purchased two Wolke m600 thermal ink jet (TIJ) printers from UK distributor, Sunala, highlighting the reliable performance of the model.

The new printers replace an in-line embossing system, which was subject to data mismatches, compromising the legibility and accuracy of the codes produced. Change overs were also slow and inefficient. The TIJ technology is unaffected by these issues.

The m600 features a Hewlett-Packard printer cartridge, which contains both the ink and the print head. This eliminates maintenance as the important elements of the printing system are regularly replaced. It also guarantees a consistently high quality code.

The system is completely drip-free during operation and change-over, ensuring a no-mess environment.
