Barcodes for small spaces

Labelling specialist, Sessions of York, can now print and verify Reduced Space Symbology (RSS) Barcodes.

Used mainly in the United States, RSS is the latest barcode type for space constrained identification from EAN International and the Uniform Code Council Inc.

RSS barcodes have been specifically developed to solve problems in the grocery, cosmetic and healthcare industries where items are too small to allow for older barcode symbologies.

The barcode's length can be shortened and RSS-14 Truncated which shortens the height of the barcode, ensuring the barcode suits the size and format of the product for easier and more efficient scanning.
