Warehouse management solution
August 1st 2004 Logistics and supply-chain services company, TDG, has gone live with Manhattan Associates Warehouse Management solution at its 180,000ft2 distribution centre (DC) in Swindon. The facility serves as a dedicated national DC for the Early Learning Centre (ELC). The solution was implemented on schedule and within budget by a joint Manhattan Associates, TDG and ELC project team.
The deployment of Manhattan Associates Warehouse Management solution, running on IBMs eServer platform, has provided TDG with the ability to meet the high standards of service that ELC requires to fulfil the needs of its multi-channel retail operation. The ability of the solution to be readily interfaced with ELCs existing merchandise management application, JDAs Portfolio Merchandise Management System, was a key factor in the decision to choose Manhattan Associates.
