Module improves forecasting

Supply chain solutions expert, TXT e-solutions, has recently implemented its Demand Planning Module to improve forecasting at Grampian Country Pork, part of agri-food business, Grampian Country Food Group.

TXT's Demand Planning Solution for Food & Beverage is to be used by the division's eight production units to forecast orders from the UK's leading retailers in what is a very competitive food sector.

Grampian opted for TXT's solution because of the company's acknowledged expertise in the food industry, the flexibility of its tools, the system's ease of use and the ability to manage daily, weekly and annual budgeting processes in a single module.
