Food service giant takes Psion speech

Food service supplier 3663 First for Foodservice is deploying Psion Teklogix’ TekSpeech solution to reduce costs by increasing productivity and accuracy.

3663 distributes products for brands such as Burger King, Pret a Manger and Compass – and previously relied on a paper and batch driven system to handle 200 million stock transactions and 37 million cases per year across its warehouse operations. With recent Pizza Hut and KFC customer wins, this caseload will increase to over 50 million – hence needing an better system.
