OptimusPDA, reportedly one
of the lightest, toughest and
most feature rich PDAs, is
now available from DED.
Little bigger than a mobile
phone, the OptimusPDA has
a Microsoft Windows CE5.0
operating system. It is
suitable for applications
throughout the supply chain
in retail, postal home
delivery and industrial
applications – it's reinforced
construction protects
against the day to day knocks and bumps of even
the harshest delivery or
warehouse environments.
Based on a powerful Intel
PXA270 520Mhz processor
with 128Mb & 3.5" colour
TFT touchscreen, the
OptimusPDA features a
MiniSD slot for memory
expansion and a powerful
Li-ion battery pack that lasts
for up to 72 hours on a
single charge. With a
durability rating of IP54 and
a 1.5 metre drop
specification, the
OptimusPDA is designed
specifically for applications
where temperature varies
and working conditions can
