generation of optical
distance sensors from Leuze
electronic for the detection
of highly dynamic processes
through unusually highfrequency
measurements.
Featuring CCD
technology, the
product is
suited to
applications in
materials
handling,
particularly
measurement
processes on
conveyors, for
positioning
assignments and
gripper applications.
The ODS 96B distance
measuring sensor covers a
range from 60 to 200 mm,
and offers a higher level of
precision; the measurement
accuracy is around ±1% with
a repeat accuracy of ±0.5%.
Precise measurement
also cuts the time
required for
readjustment and
setting processes.
Ultra-fast
measurement times
of 2ms permit
dynamic processes to
be measured up to 5
times faster than
