Order processing accuracy improved

Axiom GB has developed an integrated order picking system to increase the rate and accuracy of order processing at Unifixs Smethwick distribution centre.

In addition to conveyors, flow racking, weighing units and carton assembly and sealing machines, Axiom has supplied a series of handheld RF scanners. Linked to the Axiom control system, these enable operatives to easily locate stock, carry out audits, relocate and pick the required items.
