Key addition for Kalmar

Kalmar has appointed Chris Booth as the new managing director of its UK operations.

Chris joins Kalmar from STILL Materials Handling where he was also md.

He replaces David Fairweather who has been appointed as President of Kalmar operations in India, Middle East and Africa.

"We are investing considerably in new resources and facilities that will strengthen our operations around the UK," says Chris.

"We are well on track to increase our coverage with regionally-based service teams. It's been enlightening for me, as the relative new boy, to see that we have already developed numerous options that provide customers with service packages tailored to meet their needs," continues Chris. "Kalmar can offer a multitude of solutions to customers, from predictive maintenance through to a totally managed fleet solution."
