Wraps a range of products
February 1st 2007 In 1996 Spa Aluminium purchased its first Robopac Spiror stretch wrapper from Aetna UK and it has been in continuous use ever since. However, due to an increase in demand the Spiror was becoming a bottleneck and SPA needed more capacity. The company immediately turned to Aetna for advice. SPA's general manager Keith Dowry explains: "The new machine had to be capable of handling a range of products of different sizes without having to adjust the settings; we also needed to reduce wrap time and finally, we needed quick delivery." Aetna recommended the Spiror 300 HP model, which can handle products from 25mm to 250mm wide and from 20mm to 170mm tall, without adjustment. Minimum length is 800mm and maximum length is infinite. For larger sections, Wraps a range of products Robopac makes eight ring sizes up to a maximum 250mm. The machine is also fully guarded to CE standard and has electronically variable conveyor and ring speeds to give optimum film overlap and linear speed. More articles from AETNA UK LTD: |
