Stable new pallet system December 1st 2004 Kaysersberg Plastics is introducing a new pallet, lid and belt system for the engineering, automotive, appliance, food and pharmaceutical industries, which it claims totally removes the need for non-reusable packaging, while providing outstanding load stability.
Known as the Duro-Pallet IRB, the new pallet and lid system comes with integral inertia reel belts to improve overall pack stability and eliminate the need for conventional strapping and packaging films, thereby generating considerable savings.
For optimum protection against damage the inertia reels are concealed inside the block legs of the pallet. The ergonomic design of the fastening clip location on the lid makes the straps as quick and easy to fasten and unfasten as a seatbelt in a car. When not in use the belts retract fully and safely into the pallet leg blocks.
Two sizes are available: Duro-Pallet IRB 800 and 1000, (nominally 800 x 1200mm and 1000 x 1200mm), both to suit European standard ISO tote boxes. More articles from Kaysersberg Plastics: |
