Swisslog buys Accalon Swisslog has purchased conveyor and stacker cranes manufacturer Accalon for an undisclosed sum. The move negates Swisslog's reliance on third parties in less complex projects, where much added value had previously been swallowed up. Accalon was part of Swisslog until a management buyout in 2000.

Six tonne reach trucks Sidetracker has launched a range of compact high-capacity electric reach trucks capable of handling loads up to six tonnes.

Contract packing CERT Group has bolstered its contract packing capacity with two new centres at Hoddesdon, Herts and Lutterworth, Leicestershire, taking its contract packing, storage and distribution capacity in the UK to over 1million ft2.
