For automatic pack collation

New collation and bundling equipment introduced by Sessions of York avoids the need for shrink and film over-wraps or outer board and carton packaging.

The fully automatic collation system provides a cost-effective solution for the collation and bundling of virtually any small square and rectangular packs.

A system can be customised to meet individual requirements. A typical application may involve individual packs being formed initially into twin-packs by attaching a label around all four sides. These can be collated, for example, into multipacks of five-twin packs, held securely together by the

application of self-adhesive labels

to top and bottom profiles of the five-packs.

The collation unit is designed and built around Sessions SL series of label applicators, three of which are integrated into this unit.
