Complete turn-key packaging system June 1st 2006 Packaging machine supplier Jemac has won the contract to install a complete packaging system for a Suffolk insulation board manufacturer.
Manchester-based Jemac beat off stiff competition and was awarded the contract thanks to its expertise in the field of materials and machines, focus on customer service and ability to install a full system constructed to the customer's requirements.
The equipment provides a full turn key solution consisting of product collation, shrink wrapping, palletising and a high speed rotary arm pallet wrapper.
The system also has the flexibility to be integrated into other equipment when required.
Cost control and efficiency was a key consideration for the machine, designed to shrinkwrap a variety of pack sizes. It has several devices in place to ensure this. The shrink tunnel incorporates a special hot air distribution system with low turbulence and a thermal recovery system, which guarantees even distribution of heat.
These features amount to considerable energy savings, the cost of materials being kept to a minimum and a great reduction in man hours.
Ted McEwan, MD of Jemac said: "The contract with Celotex marks the significant achievement of Jemac since its launch in 1971 and is testament to our commitment to excellent customer service." More articles from Jemac: |
