Many companies dispatching high value goods use gummed paper tape to combat pilfering, contamination, counterfeiting and tampering.

As a tried and tested method of carton closure, gummed paper tape provides many advantages over conventional selfadhesive carton sealing tapes. The water-activated seal bonds to the cardboard carton fibres, resulting in an incredibly strong, tamperevident seal unaffected by fluctuations in ambient storage temperatures. It is even effective on dusty or partially filled cartons.

The Betterpackages range of manual and electronic dispensers, is designed to meet the demands of both small and volume users.

Robustly built and simple to use, Betterpackages dispensers can increase output by up to 20% via the preprogrammed buttons for dispensing pre-determined lengths of tape, reducing down time and the risk of repetitive strain injury.

The BP555 model can be combined with an automatic measuring device which automatically scans the carton and dispenses the correct length of tape.
