Cut fleet costs 7%

Home furnishings retailer Rosebys has cut fleet costs by 7% using Paragon’s routing and scheduling software to plan deliveries to 350 stores throughout the UK.

The savings have been achieved by using the software quarterly to review a network of fixed routes. According to Paragon, further efficiency gains have been identified as a result of using the software strategically to model different delivery scenarios – enabling Rosebys to minimise the number of additional vehicles required to cope with business growth.

“Introducing the software enabled the 7% saving almost straight away – and it’s a very valuable strategic tool,” says Roseby’s logistics manager, Carl Moore.
