ByBox to launch new generation box banks

Overnight parts distribution expert, ByBox, has begun testing a new generation of electronic RFID enabled box banks that should be in place and ready to use by the end of the year.

The new box banks will support the existing 14,000 drop boxes in 750 UK locations that are already providing a 100% pre-8am delivery service to a wide range of companies that operate large mobile field teams and who are looking for better ways to improve productivity and minimise their stock holding.

Designed to provide customers with even greater flexibility, the new box banks offer several enhanced features that ByBox believes will benefit companies in the telecommunications, electronics, pharmaceutical, IT, vending and utilities sectors.

Most importantly they are modular, so that the configuration of box sizes within each array can be easily altered as required to meet each customer's specific requirements.

In addition, each new outside box bank will include a new modular canopy design that provides customers with extra shelter during bad weather.
