Mosca’s Express delivery

The reliability of Mosca’s newspaper strapping equipment was key to its selection by Broughton Printers, part of the Express Group.

With increasing newspaper size, bundles were becoming unstable on the existing turntablebased strapping method, slowing down the supply chain. The problem was solved by installing eight lines of Mosca’s RO-TAI-5 in-line cross-strapper – designed specifically for the newspaper industry.

Delivering up to 35 bundles per minute, the machine uses Mosca’s airless, all-electric technology, eliminating costly compressed air and its related maintenance requirements. This is furthered by minimal use of moving parts.
