Trailerskate system for quick loading

Logistics services provider, Wincanton, is in the process of upgrading two of its Joloda Hydraroll Trailerskate systems at the Leicestershire facility it operates for Britvic.

The Hydraroll tracks are fitted into the floor of the trailers, which are docked on to a Hydraroll Trailerskate dock. A 13.6m skate then transfers loads between the dock and trailer. The 26 pallet load is moved in less than 2.5min, with the whole docking procedure completed in less than 7min.

Replacing 26t versions, the new systems are able to carry 30t to accommodate additional pallets.

The system can be used to handle any regular shaped loads such as palletised goods, newsprint paper reel, drums or cage containers.
