Post hasten to Berry for barriers February 1st 2005 Safety posts and barriers from Berry Systems are now in use at the Royal Mail’s Daventry regional centre.
For extra safety, most of the barriers were designed with integral handrails and mounted on Berry’s patented spring steel buffers – adding protection for vehicles too.
Flexible steel fittings and plastic end caps were utilised where needed to avoid damage or injury caused by sharp, exposed ends and corners.
Although the centre is heavily used by HGVs, fork lift trucks and wheeled trolleys, Berry believes it has helped to create as safe an environment as possible. The barriers were installed by Berry Systems’ own installation team working through main contractor Bowmer Kirkland and involved 400 metres of barrier rail mounted on spring steel buffers.
