Kee Klamps prove key for NGT roof safety

Safety guardrailing constructed using fittings from Kee Klamp has been installed on the roof the the National Grid Transco HQ in Warwick.

NGT is the UK’s largest utility company.

Over 900 meters of guardrailing now surrounds the entire roof edge of the four storey building, replacing a temporary cable arrest system with a permanent safety solution.

Highly versatile, the Key Klamp fitting ensured that the structure was able to accommodate the changes in angle required to fit the curved roof edge profile of the building.

The Key Klamp range includes a wide variety of easy to use, galvanised malleable iron fittings for the quick and simple connection of pre-cut lengths of standard tubing to form guardrailing and any other type of tubular framework structure. All fittings within the range incorporate an integral socket set screw complete with corrosion resistant coating.
