Immobilisors and electronic key cabinets from Traka help ensure that only drivers with the correct permits use materials handling equipment.

Easy to install, the intelligent key system also makes drivers accountable for the trucks they use, significantly reducing accident damage costs and improving fleet efficiency. The cost of replacing lost or broken keys is eliminated.

When specified with the optional Acceptance Button, the Traka system also ensures that drivers complete pre-operational checks and further allows drivers to report detected problems, locking out faulty trucks until the repair has been carried out.

Activity reports generated by the system allow management to analyse truck use and performance, leading to improved utilisation. Reports also show who was driving the unit in the event of an accident.
