Four hour fire wall

Eurobond now offers significantly improved fire resistance performance for its range of noncombustible composite wall panels.

The company has been working with the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) following recent product developments.

Tests were carried out at the Warrington Fire Research Centre using 150mm thick Rockspan panels. Under BS 476 Pt 22 Fire Resistance Wall Test, the panels achieved four hours integral resistance to the passage of fire or smoke. To make the test more severe, the panels spanned 9m with no intermediate supports as may be required on site, subject to wind loadings.
