Fire detection for large spaces

Apollo Fire Detectors has added an intelligent reflective beam detector to its range of fire detection products.

The intelligent reflective beam detector is designed to protect large open areas such as factories, warehouses and distribution centres. Users can select from two models one covering distances up to 50m and the other covering a range of 50m to 100m. The detectors can be used singly or positioned in parallel to cover larger areas.

The new beam detector consists of a single unit housing a transmitter, a receiver and the control electronics. This design simplifies installation and saves time over traditional beam detectors, which have these three elements as separate units.
