Cost effective safety for roof maintenance December 1st 2004 A modular man anchor system from Kee Klamp provides a safe and cost effective solution for workers assembling roof edge systems or carrying out maintenance at roof level.
Designed for roofs where there is no edge guardrailing or permanent anchor device, the Kee Anchor system ensures safe and mobile access to a flat roof (max 5 pitch) without damage to the roof membrane.
It features a central locating unit, eyebolt, four horizontal connector tubes and 16 weights fitted with anti-slip rubber pads.
The system can be quickly carried into position and assembled with the weights slid into position on the tubes to provide a safe, dead-weight anchor platform. A safety harness or other PPE can be secured to the eyebolt and the system is ready for use.
The Kee Anchor approach is especially easy to work with when workers are assembling KeeGuard edge protection. When the anchor system is no longer required, weights can be transferred to provide the counterbalance required in a final run of KeeGuard guardrailing. More articles from Kee Safety Limited: |
