Not heading for a fall at all April 1st 2005 Independent manufacturer of Personal Protective Equipment, JSP, has introduced a range of Fall Arrest Equipment to complement its existing range.
New legislation introduced in 2004 requires businesses to carry out risk assessment where there is a risk of injury from falls at any height. Previous legislation required risk assessment at heights of two meters or above.
While falling from height is one of the most common causes of death on construction sites, it is also clearly a high-risk activity in any type of business. It is therefore imperative that the correct safety equipment is used.
