Sounder/strobe combination unit

Clifford and Snell has launched its latest audible and visual alarm YL2. A compact unit houses a fully integrated sounder/strobe combination for audible/visual applications within buildings.

Complying with BS5839 Pt 1:2000, the YL2 is continuously rated and features low power consumption, volume control as standard and a separate light, sound or combination function. In addition to sound selection via a DIL switch, the unit provides 32 selectable tones.

A parabolic reflector produces light output of 3J. Lens options include red, amber and clear polycarbonate plastic. The enclosure is a red/white non flame-retardant high-impact ABS plastic.
