No more pallet lifting
April 1st 2005

With ever tightening manual handling legislation and increasing customer demand, Airflow Refrigeration Spacers has produced a new style of pallet changer to add to its growing range of pallet manipulation machines.

According to the company, the SR1P inverter ensures that pallets can be changed quickly and effectively – without the need to lift any pallets.

Due to the design of the V shape on the inverters, there is no need for additional product clamping – ensuring the cost of the machine is kept low while also being safer, says Airflow.

As a result operators can still gain access to the product when it is inverted to remove freezer spacers or attend to a damaged layer of product. The safety cell of the V design means the machine does not have to be cordoned off and so does not take up unnecessary floor space.

Loading is at floor level with no need for ramps or pits. Full security fencing is also available.
