Pocket the difference with new masks

Respiratory and hearing protection specialist, Moldex, has launched a new mask that has all the features of a traditional Moldex cup mask, with its 3D shape and fit, but it is now even easier to carry around. The foldable Pocket Mask comes individually packed, which makes it hygienic and suitable to carry around in your pocket at all times.

Featuring Activform and Duramesh, the Pocket Mask is said to fit perfectly, even after folding, and does not collapse like some other masks.

Roman Skov, Moldex sales and marketing director for Europe, said: "It was a challenge to combine the comfort and fit of a cup mask with the convenience of a folded product, but using our substantial experience in moulding technology we feel we have a mask that does just that. It's been designed to be easy to use - simply unfold and wear!"

The fit of a mask has never been so important - under the Code of Practice for COSHH 2002, it is now a legal requirement for the employer to ensure masks are fit tested for all users.
