in the handling and storage
sector. This is demonstrated
by a recent joint venture
involving Powerscreen
International and Nu-Star.
Power screen part of the
TEREX group specialises in
the design and manufacture
of dry screening, washing
and recycling equipment for
the quarry, mining, and
landfill industries. At its plant
in Dungannon, Northern
Ireland, the company has
recently added a Nu-Star
Super Pusher to its existing
Power Pushers. The new
Super Pusher
incorporates a
Curtis speed
controller, battery
discharge
indicator and tiller
head the
complete
performance
package.
Powerscreen
no longer relies
on overhead
gantry cranes to move
6500kg screen box
assemblies, instead using
carrier bogies in tandem
with the Nu-Star Super
Pusher. Benefits include the
freeing-up of over 650m2 of
assembly floor space as the
Super Pusher is more
manoeuvrable and needs
less room than forklifts or
