Conveyors on the brain
April 1st 2008

The intellectual property rights of PJ Automation (PJA) have been acquired by materials handling and conveying manufacturer Excel Automation.

Following this, Excel is now introducing a range of Hazmac-style sidefriction precision conveyor systems.

To market the range, former PJA md Paul Hazelton has joined Excel.

Widely used in the automotive industry, Hazmac systems are mainly bespoke and designed to convey most flat objects, including flat pallet stored products. They are used for engine assembly and test facilities, in areas where high precision applications are necessary.

Variants include light and heavy duty.
