Conveyor's a dabs hand
August 1st 2007 With growth necessitating a
modified despatch system for
dabs.com, the online
electronics retailer turned to
Transnorm for a delivery
dock loading conveyor.
The existing system,
which featured two
telescopic belt conveyors
feeding delivery vehicles,
now needed to incorporate
a further loading dock,
which Transnorm installed
along with modification to
other parts of the system.
Based around its swivel
technology, Transnorm came
up with a two sort for small
items and trays and a simple
sort for the despatch goods.
Although Dabs products vary
hugely in size (smaller than
A4 to massive plasma
screens), the system easily
